Hanka wants to get information about the colonel with whom our retiree met at the infantry school, where they studied since the fall of 1953. Stefan Kolodziej, however, has other plans. He wants to tell Hanka his biography, which is suspiciously intertwined with the journalist's life. The Colonel's confession reveals the horrifying cesspool of communism: finished people, destroyed families and careers.
