The courtroom is completely filled with spectators. Lawyer Ayame Hanajin, the defendant, mutters with blank eyes. "What was that... the crime I committed...?" Thus, the trial of a "murder case" begins. Time rewinds to one year ago. Minamoto Toya (Akihisa Shiono) appears before Ayame with a quiet madness. "Why are you here...?" "I was waiting for you." Toya slowly approaches Ayame, ignoring the bleeding Mogami Yoko (Misuzu Kanno) who was pushed down the stairs. Ayame desperately resists Toya, crying tears of hatred, as he attacks her, turning into an uncontrollable "demon".
