Following the completion of the training, CHUNG LAP-MAN and LEE PAK-KIU finally pass out from the police cadet school. MAN is to team up with a very experienced police officer SHUM WING-BIU in his first posting. An emergency arises and MAN is called in to deal with the situation. With his efforts and determination, MAN can finally complete his task and receives rapturous praise from the public. Although MAN is going steady with his girlfriend HO FA, he shows a lack of confidence in her and raises a strong objection when she announces her plan to study design in Japan.
