When Warden Robin Hooda decides to resign from his post, he recounts his story of the hostel in the era of the 90s when Mirza ruled it with support from his right hand Shiv. Mirza sees potential in a new student Badri and gets him to join his business. However, Badri does not like the righteous nature of Mirza and goes behind him to earn more name and power. He plans to dethrone Mirza to rule the hostel himself and ultimately manages to rusticate him and be able to run the university even after passing out.
