Ashin is a filmmaker from Malappuram, Kerala, currently studying filmmaking at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. My work is driven by a deep interest in human emotions, memory, and the psychological tensions hidden within everyday life. Through a realistic and immersive visual approach, He aims to create stories rooted in emotional authenticity and intimate human experiences. He often draws inspiration from real people, spaces, and situations, exploring the thin line between the familiar and the unsettling. Ashin is particularly interested in atmosphere-driven storytelling, where silence, visual detail, and performance become central to the narrative experience. My films frequently engage with themes of fear, loneliness, relationships, and the emotional weight carried by ordinary moments. As a filmmaker, Ashin aspires to create deeply personal yet universally resonant stories that linger with audiences long after the film ends, allowing them to inhabit the worlds and characters I create emotionally.
