Knowing that Cheong Ching falls ill because her lover leaves her, Ying Cheong comforts her. Becoming more cheerful, Cheong Ching feels much grateful for Ying Cheong.
Chi Tsung promotes Ying Cheong at Cheong Ching's request. The Wai family thus gains much status and is flattered by all.
