SING is made a scapegoat. He faces the criminal charge of treason and is going to bear all the responsibility, only for the sake of his family. LUI soon feels relieved. YAO’s master has sent a hitman to kill YAO but luckily she has managed to escape. CHANG has been overseeing LUNG. She swears that she would give the world if LUNG could recover. LUNG suddenly wakes up. CHANG is overjoyed and bursts into tears. YIK persuades YUNG to leave JUN, which irks JUN. JING has decided to execute SING and all his relatives. LUNG, though still recuperating, goes to meet JING and asks for a pardon on SING’s behalf. JING refuses, nevertheless. LUNG reckons that JING has become increasingly tyrannical.
