Varun, KD Pathak's assistant, is attacked and produced before the village council. Bahubali, one of the villagers, is enraged by KD Pathak and Varun, and asks them to leave. Later, KD Pathak questions Bahubali's wife, Mansi, about her visit to a black magician. She admits that she was performing a sacrificial ceremony in the belief that it will help her bear a child. But then, KD Pathak produces a doctor before the village council who reveals that shortly before her death, Meenakshi had visited her clinic to get an abortion, and that Meenakshi was pregnant with Bahubali's child!
