Mong installs a HERO unit (Hazard Early Response Option) in Maximix that he gets from his friend Ixtinguix- the Bubble Town Fire Chief. But when Ixtinguix starts acting strangely the Botties suggest that he come to the Annual Robot Inspection at Town Hall for a check up. The strange behavior turns into flame-throwing rage- it's Solex! And soon Dr. K shows up with Kolossal and Kannon to take kontrol of the situation.
