After the arrest of the insane Rajko, an order comes from the highest institutions to stop the investigation of the murder in Žrnovo. Inspector Pletikosić, doubting this theory, asks for help from his friend and former boss, Inspector Tanasijević, who, having left the police, now leads a completely different life.
As the disappearance of Novicki represents a serious problem for the state, Prince Pavle orders General Živković to find out as soon as possible what happened to the count. That disappearance also seriously disturbs Maja Davidović, who did not fulfill the task entrusted to her. Mustafa Golubić, protected in his shelter, slowly weaves a web in order to find out what kind of conspiracy is brewing.
Everyone sticks to their own interests, alliances are established, but nothing is as it seems at first glance.
