Sosuke follows Saku into the hospital and learns that he has an older sister who doesn't have much left to live. In such a desperate situation, the two begin to pursue the "urban legend of a white man who can cure anything" with a desire to grasp at straws. Involving members of the poetry, singing, and archaeology clubs, Saku and the others scramble around the country in search of white people. Eventually, they realized that this mysterious being was attracted to the song.
