The script for this episode was based on Gabriela Zapolska’s novel “Seasonal Love.” Aniela Dulska, in order to improve the health of her frail son Zbyszek, travels to Zakopane—a spa resort that was becoming increasingly fashionable at that time. Upon arrival, she discovers that a young, handsome actor from Kraków is living in the same mountain cottage. The man, accustomed to flirting and fleeting romantic adventures, decides to take advantage of the opportunity presented to him.
